# Bedding Compliance and Certification Guide

Wholesale bedding compliance should be confirmed by destination market, buyer channel, product category, material claims, label requirements and packing documentation. The certificate list should be agreed before sampling or quotation.

## Common Checkpoints

- OEKO-TEX: textile safety documentation for fabric, trims or finished bedding programs
- BSCI / social audit: factory social-compliance or audit documentation for retailers and distributors
- GRS: recycled-material documentation when a recycled claim is part of the specification
- FSC packaging: paper card, box or insert documentation when required by the buyer
- CPSIA / REACH: market compliance review based on destination, product and buyer channel
- Labels and documents: fibre content, care label, barcode, carton mark and inspection-document alignment

## Buyer Brief Fields

- Destination country or region
- Required certificate, test report, audit document or buyer protocol
- Product scope: fabric, fill, trims, labels, packaging or finished product
- Claim wording: organic, recycled, hypoallergenic, waterproof, hotel-grade or child-use claims
- Label language and importer-detail requirements
- Document timing before sample approval, production, inspection or shipment
