# Bedding Sample Types, Cost and Shipping Guide

Wholesale bedding samples can include stock samples, fabric swatches, custom product samples, label samples, packing samples and pre-production samples. Sample cost and timing depend on the specification, custom work, packaging, courier weight, destination and whether revisions are needed before bulk approval.

## Sample Types

- Stock sample: checks existing product direction, workmanship, fabric feel and general quality.
- Fabric swatch: compares composition, GSM, colour, pile, print direction, warmth and handfeel.
- Custom sample: uses buyer-selected size, fabric, set build, colour, print, embroidery, trim or construction.
- Label sample: checks care label, woven label, barcode, FNSKU, hangtag, insert or marketplace label placement.
- Packing sample: reviews fold method, bag, box, insert, carton mark, compression and retail presentation.
- Pre-production sample: confirms final approved direction before bulk production, inspection and shipment preparation.
